BRIEF HISTORY OF THE GNMSS CO-OP HOSPITAL & RC LTD. BIDAR
The hospital registered at central Register Reg. No.MSCS\CR\933 on dated 17.1.2014 in the name of Gurupadappa Nagmarpalli Multi Super Speciality Co-Operative Hospital and Research Centre Ltd. Bidar.
This Hospital has been started by chief promoter Late Dr. Gurupadappa Nagmarpalli Ex.MLA & Ex-Minister of the Govt-of Karnataka and Ex-President of DCC Bank Ltd. Bidar and NSSK Ltd. Bidar.
Primary mission of the hospital is to provide comprehensive health care at affordable price which is need of the hour for the poor people of Bidar district and neighbouring Dist. Of Maharashtra and Telangana.
Population here is residing in rural areas mostly dependent on agricultural income for their livelihood. Emergency care for the needy Patients is available at a distance of 150 kms from Bidar at Hyderabad or at distance of 250 kms at Solapur.
Hospital is supported with two ALS ambulances with ventilator and oxygen facilities for shifting emergency patients to higher centres. One small ambulance provides free service for patients requiring MRI / CT / USG within the city limits of Bidar.
Co-operative society has purchased land measuring 70 acre 18 guntas near village Lalbag with a vision to construct 500 bedded super speciality hospital along with educational institutes.
Present hospital became operational on 11.11.2014 with provision of 50 beds with facilities like MRI, CT scan, USG, X-ray with well equipped lab and NICU, MICU facility and 24×7 hrs specialised doctors [Surgical specialist, Gynaecologist, Orthopaedics, Paediatrician, Dermatologist, MD Physician].
